Spring Maintenance
With Spring now around the corner, it is a very useful time to have that Spring Maintenance Programme ready to go
Here are some handy hints to consider implementing in your Spring Maintenance Programme:
- Identify seasonal issues: Some items such as debris in gutters, any damage to the property from winter storms, or cleaning of heating systems throughout the home.
- Safety: It is very important to maintain safety procedures if you are working at heights, such as cleaning gutters, or using power tools, or handling hazardous materials.
- Preventative Maintenance: It is important to be proactive with maintenance to help avoid costly repairs down the line.
- Prioritise: Testing of smoke alarms, air filters and vents, drains around the house, garbage disposals.
- Time based routine: These routines are always successful as they are in the calendar and ready to be done in a timely fashion
- Condition based routine: Based on when a home product was purchased, it is good to have in your calendar a date to check all new purchases throughout the home.
